Got sick last week.

Malaria got hold of me.

Not funny.

No worries I am back.

Did some sewing yesterday for a doll´s cot on wheels for a little 2 year olds birthday. I made some curtains and a little blue sheet for the cot. Cute. I went to a few different hardware stores yesterday to get a straight piece of wire to make the frame to hang the curtains for the doll´s cot. Well, try to explain that in portuguese to people that have no clue what you are talking about... a doll in a bed ??? Anyway I managed, found, bought, and bend it into shape. Curtains made and little girl was very happy today. Babydoll is asleep now in her very own bed. Makes me wish that more little girls here have a proper bed to sleep in.



I wrote about YARN in my last post. This weekend I received more yarn, beautiful colours. Thanks to Zeeman, a store in the Netherlands that had a knitting special last autumn. My mom bought some and sent it over with material and instruments for our medical project here. Thanks mom!!!

Off to the girls tomorrow. Last week I really thought I could go, "just take my meds and carry on", no way I slept and slept for days.  Still taking cat naps, love it ;)
