veranda

today

i sat on my front veranda

i do have a place now

to do needlework

there i was

with the children

because

they wanted to sit together

they were playing with beads and ribbons

making bookmarks

i made a flower dress

for julia

shorts for the boys

are yet to come

they are not very fond

of the fabric

green flowers

not a boys thing

i didn´t choose the fabric, school did

they need special clothes for

june 1st

dia das crainças (mozambikan childrens day)

party at school

with singing

reciting

sport

 and fun things to do

the girls at our church

are still working on their bedspreads/patchwork quilts

putting the blocks together now

will go there wednesday

see how far they are now

sorry internet isn´t working well here

took a looooooong time before i was able to write here

will post pictures in the future to brighten up the text
