 the last week or so

that means:

no running water
from our taps

and taking a bucket bath

that brings me to:

how to take a bucket bath?

you get a bucket

fill it up with water

get a cup or jar

scoop up the water

and poor the water over you

if you find it easier to take a normal bath

open up your tap,

fill up your bath

and enjoy

the positive thing is

that we were able to clean out our tank

a lot of sand came out

now the tank is

CLEAN

and

WAITING

for

water to enter

We

 still have some water
to use, in seperate little tanks

most of the PEOPLE
in our neighbourhood
have no running water
at home
and

have to walk

long distances now

and pay more (6x normal price)

to get their bucket filled

carrying it on their head

as usual

just to explain:
our city is expanding

the watersystem cannot handle that very well

it works in rotation

every neighbourhood has its day or days, normally
to get water

but
at the end of the year

we all
are waiting for
the rains to come

to fill up the cisterns and large citytanks

distributing water at the end of the year

is even more difficult.

we have to be waterwise
and it makes you appreciate
water
even more
