first night back in mozambique
- 2 weeks ago -
we were welcomed by
an
powerless and stormy night
no electricity
and lots and lots of rain
last friday again
this time
lightning hit
nearby
a huge cashew tree
was hit
a few hundred metres from our house
this little hut
has been put up
to please the spirits of the ancestors
food is placed inside
normally you´ll find those little huts
under baobab trees
and now here
next to the tree
or what is left of it
"Don't tell God how big your storm is.
Tell the storm how big your God is."
