buying breadrolls

during our time in malawi

we always baked our own bread

sometimes six at a time

--1st because we lived in the bush

2nd there were not that many bakeries

3rd not really a bread culture--

 

in moçambique

you´ll find a lot of small bakeries

and you can buy portuguese breadrolls

bread is more part of the diet here

in the city at least

 

when we buy breadrolls

we always buy a lot

to put in the freezer

 

we bake our own bread too

because we prefer home baked brown bread

 

we arrived after 12h00

the bakery was closed

( all shops close between 12h00 and 14h00

except the supermarket)

therefore we bought
