A friend of mine bought her first sewing machine
Last Saturday we sat together and she had her first sewing lesson
We both have the same machine
working together
And having fun
She did very well!!!
I promised her a little bag for her scissors and small things,
measuring lint etc.
I made a little matching pincushion for her as well
In the background our rabbit
I didn´t manage to find filling for the pincushion or for teddy bears in town.
I bought a pre loved pink rabbit on the street
Gave it a thorough was in the washing machine
And am using the filling of the poor rabbit
Lucas made a tiny little pin cushion
(2x3 cm!) for his 2 needles
He uses at school for his embroidery classes (boys and girls participate)
He asked me "Mom, where is the rabbit? I need him for my pin cushion."
Poor rabbit is getting very sad and skinny.
I made this over the weekend
Gave it to my friend today
And can show you now as well
I am experimenting with my "yellow" label.
Fabric used:
Pink check fabic is from a pre loved blouse
and the flowery fabric (another blouse) I bought at the second hand store,
just for the fabric.
